Milling

It is often necessary to remove existing asphalt surface prior to installing new pavement so that the ride will be smooth.

This process uses a milling machine, which cuts the old asphalt from the roadway and it is then conveyed onto a truck – leaving a roadway base clear of failing asphalt.
