The King Asphalt Quality Control Department is staffed by experienced technicians who take a professional approach to guarantee that each asphalt plant meets quality standards as set forth by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT).
Our Quality Control associates are certified Level 3 Technicians, who are educated in all facets of monitoring and testing asphalt manufacturing processes.
King Asphalt works in conjunction with Tri-County Technical College by exploring new products and investigating different processes concerning asphalt. It is our hope that this relationship will further the development of innovative ways to produce better asphalt products and to introduce the asphalt industry to our future generations.
