King Asphalt held it’s Annual Safety Awards Breakfast at Tri-County Technical College on February 26, 2018. Awards were presented to those employees with exemplary safety habits and an extreme commitment to safety. King Asphalt’s ultimate goal is for all employees to go home safe each and every night to their families. We feel through our commitment with the Safety Program, it becomes a safer work environment for all of the King family of employees.
This year, our guest speaker, Parker Sampson, offered his story, a riveting one about his personal story of losing an arm in a farming accident several years ago. Through his faith in Christ and his family, he told the story of his harrowing ordeal and how he survived. His story was not only an inspirational story of the human spirit, but a lesson to all about how quickly something like this can change your life and the lives of those around you by not taking the time to think about your task and the safest way to complete it.
Owner, Mike Crenshaw discussed upcoming work and the future goals of King Asphalt. He discussed the upcoming infrastructure plans for the State and how it will affect the entire King team.
We are very proud and congratulate all of our Safety Award winners. We are sure we will see them continue to be successful in safety for the years to come.
